May I ask: What is the \"entrance vestibule\" in the on-site control room? Also, is the power distribution cabinet in the control room used to supply power to the instruments on site, or does it have other functions?
I wasn’t quite clear about what the original poster meant in the previous question. The power distribution cabinets in the control room are typically supplied with power from both the mains electricity and a UPS, which then distributes this power to the operation stations as well as to the control cabinets and other components of the system. Not every control system has a power distribution cabinet.
Check what type of wiring the field instrument uses: two-wire systems are used to power the control room, while four-wire systems are not. Generally, the power distribution cabinet in the control room supplies power only to the control cabinets.
The “entrance niche” in the on-site control room is a small area created right after entering, serving to separate the control room from the entrance. It serves to provide separation, wind protection, and warmth retention.

This power is needed to supply the control cabinets, safety barrier cabinets, SIS control cabinets, relay cabinets, and engineer stations located in the cabinet area. Each of these cabinets may also require 220V power for fans. Furthermore, the distribution cabinet must supply power to the printers, operation stations, auxiliary control panels, and alarm panels in the operation area. It also supplies power to the 4-wire transmitters, analyzers, field PLCs, DCS remote I/O cabinets, and other devices on site
