This post was last edited by wang*neng on 2009-8-4 at 16:55. Experts with practical production experience are requested to give advice: How much does an investment cost for a 100,000 tons/year PVC cyclone drying (not swirl) production line? What are the steam and electricity consumption during normal production? Extra points will be given to all those who provide valid answers! Thank you!
Steam consumption: 0.4 tons per ton of PVC
The total investment for a 100,000-ton PVC cyclone dryer is around 1.3 million yuan. The main equipment includes two cyclone separators, one blower, one exhaust fan, one cyclone dryer, one star feeder, and one screw-wing fan. For each ton of product, 0.4 tons of steam are required per ton of PVC; the electricity consumption comes from the operation of these two fans.
If a domestic centrifuge is chosen, the investment will be around 13 million yuan; If an imported centrifuge is chosen, the investment is around 15 million yuan. Steam consumption is approximately 0.40~0.42 t/tPVC, and electricity consumption is 55~60 kW·h/tPVC.
It should be air-drying; two-stage cyclone separators are used for collecting the material. Only one exhaust fan, a feeder, and a shutdown valve are required. The total power consumption is around 280 kW, while the steam consumption is 0.5 tons per ton of PVC. The total investment is likely to be in the range of 1.8 to 2 million yuan
