It was likely that the evacuation time before ignition was insufficient, resulting in inadequate replacement of the air. After the evacuation process was stopped, natural gas leaked, and an excess amount of natural gas inside the furnace caused a flash explosion. Our factory experienced such an incident once, which weakened the furnace’s brick structure significantly, causing serious damage to the gasification furnace
