Cooling towers should generally be located in areas with good ventilation, and it would be more conducive to ventilation if the long side of the water tower was perpendicular to the direction of the wind – wouldn’t this help improve the efficiency of the cooling tower? Is it perhaps because there is a concern that strong winds might blow the cooling tower over? Could someone upstairs or an expert please explain this in detail?
