I now want to create a device with many bends inside. Since I’m not an expert in equipment, I would like to ask what value of R for elbow pipes can be achieved in China at present? The current goal is to achieve R=2.5D; at the very least, R=3D is required. Are there any manufacturers in China capable of producing such pipes? Because I consulted some manufacturers, it seems quite difficult to do this... The pipe diameter is probably less than DN20... If it’s possible to do it, what’s the difference from ordinary elbow manufacturing techniques? I hope someone who knows about this can reply. Thank you!
Currently, cold bending can achieve R=2.5-3D, while hot bending can reach R=1.5-2D. There are too many manufacturers; the main one is Zhongyou Pipeline Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. located in Langfang. It specializes in manufacturing bends for the oil industry, with very large diameters – you can contact them for more information.

You can contact my friend; he mainly bends pipes with a diameter of φ18X2, to a radius of R=45. QQ: 1205683054

Why go for such a small radius? Won’t the pipeline collapse?
Currently, cold bending can achieve R=2.5-3D with no issues, while hot bending can reach R=1.5-2D. There are likely many manufacturers; these types of elbow boilers and heat exchangers are quite common, so one can consult relevant manufacturers for information.
