The selection of the Stars for July 2009 in the Foreign Language Section has been completed. For more details, please visit: http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-503057-1-1.html. The results and awards are as follows: First place: echommm – 218 points; Second place: wswws3869 and ythwgh8 – 168 points each; Fourth place: purplelarry – 128 points; Fifth place: wingman1985 – 99 points. Although some old friends come to the club less often due to work, we are also pleased to see new members joining our vibrant family with a strong learning atmosphere. As a veteran member, the club has granted me many honors; it’s time to give the opportunity to the younger people – this stage belongs to you. Communicating with you all makes me feel that I am making progress every day, and my work and life are both very fulfilling. Especially recently, there have been many high-level members such as leonqin, b_j_y, gPROMS, etc. I hope to be able to participate in more exchanges in the future – so that we can learn from each other and make progress together! :handshake :handshake :handshake
I’ve been busy or on business trips throughout July, and I regret not being able to cast a vote. It’s comforting and pleasing to see that so many new members are joining our community; I hope everyone can stay happy here and enjoy every moment:victory:. Thank you all for recommending me – I really feel honored. Back then, I had ulterior motives: to earn the daily red envelopes, I needed to post at least 2 replies, but I didn’t want to post just to reply back. So I ended up in the foreign language section, where translating a few sentences wasn’t too much of a hassle. This way, I could earn both the daily red envelopes and points, which was quite convenient. Moreover, Audrey Piaoxiang used to have high scores, which made me very happy, and that’s how I ended up on this \"shady path\"...;P
Thank you all for your generous recommendations, especially Chao Ban Qing Ming, echo, Muzi, cjzhou, olivetree, and niuky (let me catch my breath first); I’m very grateful for the strong support from so many enthusiastic friends. I believe that hard work pays off, so keep working hard, always.
I’m late, everyone. The economy is showing some signs of recovery, so things have been busy. But I’ll continue to pay close attention to Haichuan as always. Thank you to all my supporters for their backing.
