In the PROII simulation, is the outlet temperature at the bottom of the tower the temperature after passing through the reboiler or the temperature right at the bottom of the tower?
Isn’t the outlet temperature of the reboiler the same as the temperature of the last tray?
It should be the temperature coming out of the reboiler, as the reboiler is also considered a theoretical plate

Hehehe, it seems that some of them are different. Reboilers can be divided into heat-siphon reboilers and kettle-type reboilers, and their working principles vary. I suggest the original poster take a look at their working principles
If a section of the liquid level is not full, then the two temperatures will be different; there will be a slight variation, and this temperature is the one that comes from the bottom of the tower.

The original poster doesn’t need to worry too much about it. The reboiler, as the last theoretical tray, actually has the lowest separation efficiency of all the trays; if the number of theoretical trays in the distillation process is large, its impact can basically be ignored. Those who have drawn theoretical tray diagrams should be aware of this

It is the temperature after passing through the reboiler, not the actual temperature of the final tray.
