In current solvent oil production projects, distillation is generally used to separate C5/C6, No. 120, and No. 200 solvent oils. I noticed that a newly launched project includes an alkali washing step before the solvent oil separation – is this necessary?
When there is no previous processing step or the raw materials are purchased externally, it is possible to ensure the quality of the raw materials.
Alkali washing and desulfurization are necessary. . .
I think it should be determined based on the sulfur content in your raw materials; I have prepared reports on this topic without using any desulfurization steps
The solvent oil here does not go through an alkali washing process.
