I graduated from a normal school with a degree in chemistry, where I studied topics such as General Principles of Chemistry (experiments), Inorganic Chemistry (experiments), Organic Chemistry (experiments), Analytical Chemistry (experiments), Physical Chemistry (experiments), Instrumental Analysis, Structural Chemistry, Biochemistry (experiments), Fundamentals of Chemical Engineering (experiments), Chemical Informatics, and Intermediate Inorganic Chemistry Experiments. Currently, I work as an analyst in the analysis laboratory of a copper smelting plant. My supervisor wants me to work in the quality control team responsible for sample collection after completing my current tasks, so that once I’m competent enough, I can take over from the plant’s analysts who are stationed elsewhere. Many people in our plant live outside the plant permanently, and there are several locations where our own staff need to conduct analyses and tests (probably to prevent fraud by outsiders or local agencies there^^0). I really want to continue working in this field, and I would like to ask those who have experience in chemical engineering and metal smelting: if I want to pursue this career, what is the best path forward? In which direction should I go? Do I need to obtain any additional certificates? Thank you in advance, seniors
