I would like to ask everyone: in the design of distillation columns, when entering design parameters for the column and selecting ‘feeds and products’, what do ‘fixed Rate Draw’, ‘pseudoproducts’, and ‘Total Phase Draw’ mean? (I’m a beginner.) Thank you!
Fixed Rate draw refers to the extraction of pseudoproducts via side lines; virtual logistics denotes virtual flow of materials; Total Phase Draw refers to the extraction of all phases
What was said upstairs is correct – a fixed Rate draw refers to sideline production; could it be a fixed flow rate? ?
The fixed-rate draw-off via the side line can be treated as a variable; its amount can be defined in the specifications, allowing as much to be drawn off as desired. However, care must be taken when setting the amount drawn off, as otherwise convergence will not occur.
