May I ask: what is the difference between single-pole single-throw and double-pole double-throw?
Single pole single throw allows for one-way on/off operation, while double pole double throw provides two inputs and one output, with the option to switch between them
Single-pole single-throw controls the on/off state of one wire, while double-pole double-throw controls the on/off state of two wires simultaneously
From a safety perspective, a double-pole switch is safer; for example, when it comes to controlling lighting, if a single-pole switch is used to control the neutral wire, the light will remain dim even after it has been turned off. Therefore, the phase wire must be controlled.
A single pole controls the on/off state of one wire, while two poles control the on/off state of two wires simultaneously. A single throw can only control one wire, whereas a double throw allows switching to another wire. Am I right?
