How does this filter work?
A metal powder is sintered to form a skeleton, and then a filtration substrate is sprayed on for normal mechanical filtration purposes. However, this filter can be backwashed when the pressure drop is high
Silane-based production of polysilicon involves chlorosilanes as well, and these can be filtered using titanium filter elements; the precision is excellent, and the flow rate isn’t high, making it quite suitable
Metal powder sintered filter element: Features: 1. Capable of withstanding harsh operating conditions: corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, pressure-resistant, and long-lasting. Among the mainstream equipment in foreign polysilicon plants, there are examples of those operating at temperatures of up to ~550°C. 2. It features low filtration pressure drop, high flow rate, high precision, simple operation, easy control and maintenance, as well as a long service life for the filter elements. 3. Wide range of applications: It can be used in all scenarios involving gas/solid interactions in polysilicon production, as well as in some cases of liquid/solid separation. Disadvantage: Most of the filters in use nowadays are imported, resulting in high investment costs! Key point: The localization of high-quality filter elements is an inevitable trend for their widespread use, and this also applies to other imported equipment in polysilicon factories! ! !
