There is a storage tank with a diameter of 2800, a cylinder length of 8000, and a thickness of 16; it is made of 16MnR material and is of horizontal type. Its pressure range falls under categories 1 and 2, but due to the type of medium used, it is classified as category 3. What do you think should be the price per ton for such a tank?
It depends on the manufacturing costs of your factory; just add the cost to the profit. For the first and second categories of products we produce, the price is 10,000 per ton, and then you need to add the costs associated with inspections by the testing institute as well as the shipping fees.
The manufacturing cost varies from factory to factory; generally, the cost for producing three types of pressure vessels is 18,000 yuan per ton, and then the costs associated with inspections by the regulatory authorities and shipping fees need to be added on top of that.
For categories 1 and 2, the price per ton is around 8,800; for category 3 containers, it’s probably around 15,000 per ton. It's just my personal opinion
Is it for export? Is it for use at sea or on land? Should the design standards be GB or ASME? We usually follow ASME standards. The material cost is around 10,000; adding manufacturing and inspection costs, as well as the cost of the U-Stamp and profits, the total cost per ton is at least 20,000. I’m not sure if this can help you!
