May I ask: if one works in a design institute after obtaining a doctorate degree, how many years will it take to be promoted to engineer?
It can be evaluated right away; once you go there, you become an engineer.

Registered engineers must pass the exam regardless of their degree. Those who come here are engineers; however, having a doctorate is somewhat an overkill for working in design institutes or petrochemical companies! They don’t even want it! ! You should think it over carefully
