I would also like to ask: by a valve made of ammonia-resistant material, it means that the core of such a valve does not contain copper. Does that imply that other valves contain some amount of copper in their structure? If present, in which structural part is copper contained?

The ammonia pressure system must use specialized valves; it is evident that these valves differ from ordinary ones in terms of their sealing performance, which is better. Leave the last two questions for experts to answer.
It seems that most alloy steels contain copper, which can improve the wear resistance of the material.

Personally, I believe no part of the valve should contain copper; even if external components do contain copper, they will corrode rapidly in an ammonia atmosphere. As for the types of valves, ball valves and globe valves are the most common, with 4F butterfly valves also being used. I haven’t found anything particularly special about the valves designed for ammonia; if anyone knowledgeable is out there, please give some advice! !

In this light, ammonia valves don’t seem to have anything special either; most valves also have these sealing surfaces. Is there anything special about its structure? I have a question!
The standard requirement for the sealing surfaces of the new version of ammonia valves is PTFE, whereas it was babbitt alloy before. Moreover, the spool of the ammonia valve is equipped with a PTFE upper seal, and its size and shape differ from those of ordinary valves.
