Set up a vent valve or design a return valve from the outlet to the compressor inlet.
I have never understood the pressure drop issue. What is the working principle of pressure reducing equipment such as vent valves? Does it rely on changing the gas volume to achieve the effect of reducing pressure, or does it release part of the gas? Thank you for the guidance, it is greatly appreciated

" There is a problem with the second half of your sentence. The pressure relief valve reduces pressure rather than relieves pressure. Pressure reduction uses a special valve to create resistance to reduce the gas pressure, while pressure relief releases the gas through venting. This is obviously impossible (too wasteful). For reducing the pressure of 5MP high-pressure gas to 1MP, the pressure is mainly reduced through a pressure reducing valve (what you call a pressure reducing valve), and increasing the pipe diameter can be used as an auxiliary means.
3# The little turtle vent valve is not a pressure reducing device, and the vent valve is not used to reduce pressure. What you are probably talking about is a pressure reducing valve. For the pressure reducing valve, in order for steam to flow through, it must overcome the resistance of the valve to do work. When doing work, the pressure decreases.
