FIY: (Pipe) – beveling of pipes (Since it involves pipe data, the term \"PIPE\" needs to be taken into consideration during translation to ensure better understanding). Pipe beveling machines are used to reshape the ends of pipes before welding with mechanical welding equipment; with such machines, a standard bevel can be created in just 2–5 minutes.
Since LZ mentioned it is related to pipes, in practical terms, “facing” should be translated as: groove (or bevel). It is mainly to correspond with the SLOPE gradient mentioned later.
Data related to pipes: Data such as distances, elevations, facing, and slope. What does “facing” mean in this context? Facing refers to the orientation of the pipe; pipe facing machine is a device used for setting the orientation of pipes
I also think it refers to the groove for pipe connection
Strictly speaking, “Facing” might perhaps be translated as “end face of the pipe.” The Facing data includes information such as the shape, angle, smoothness, and levelness of the final end surface of the steel pipe, in order to ensure that the two pipes fit well when they are joined or welded together. The facing could also be a flange surface or a bevel gear surface; therefore, it is not necessarily a \"groove\" – the English term for \"groove\" is \"Groove\".
Data such as distances, elevations, facing, and slope – considering the entire sentence – seem to refer to the parameters of a pipeline. Its position and dimensions are already indicated by distances and elevations; the specific slope is given by slope, and facing likely refers not to the shape of the pipe opening, but rather to the pipeline itself, as there is no description of the pipe itself here. I think what is meant here is \"surface treatment\" – whether it’s painting, insulation, cooling, or something else.
Considering the context before and after, I think it means “surface of the tube”
The pipe data should be the installation data for the pipes; the other three are also installation data. Facing should be as well, so it must refer to the (welding) slope.
