This post was last edited by fallautumn on 2009-8-12 at 17:07. I plan to create a series of posts in which I’ll share my thoughts and experiences regarding watching movies, TV shows, and animations over the past three years or so... If you ask me why I decide to write such a post despite being busy, Ugh, I really can’t say... If I have to come up with an answer, it’s maybe that I don’t have the time or mood to watch movies these days, so I’m planning to make a summary before retiring? Well, maybe so... Watching movies is a matter of personal preference after all; it’s a highly subjective experience, depending on the actors one likes, the styles one prefers, the genres one enjoys... and so on. So, basically, everyone has their own tastes. That means what I like, you might not like, and what I don’t like, you might still like... Therefore, this is just my personal opinion. Those who disagree are welcome to share their views; thank you! ^_^ Basically, by now I can’t remember how many movies I’ve watched... Of the movies I’ve seen, I can’t recall the names of most of them, except for those that are particularly famous... There’s a reason for this... I bought a computer in September 2006; I was in my senior year at that time, so it seemed like I had plenty of time. Although the school was located in the countryside, miraculously this area was a pilot zone for Internet upgrades in Shanghai, so the internet speed was very fast. As a result, I would download movies and stream content non-stop every day… I’d watch about 5 to 6 movies per day back then; in between, I would watch some American series and animations, as well as Taiwanese variety shows and the Korean show “Love Letter”… Speaking of which, I guess it’s unlikely that we’ll ever see again the situation where several people gather in a small room around a single computer to watch movies together… From 2007 to 2008, my first year after graduation, my main activity was watching movies, as there wasn’t any more space on my hard drive for downloads. My 160G hard drive was already used up by more than 150GB – most of that space was taken up by software, movies, TV series, and animations… On weekends during that time, I would buy two packs of cigarettes, two 2.5L bottles of Coke, four packs of chips, and two packs of sunflower seeds, then start my weekend movie marathon… I use the word “marathon” because I still remember one particularly intense weekend when I watched 13 movies in a row, from 6:30 in the morning to 11:30 at night, without using fast-forward at all… At that time, I was driven to watch movies solely with the goal of freeing up space on my hard drive… Back then, I was practically like someone suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder… After 2008, work became increasingly busy, and my interest in movies diminished due to that year of constant watching; I stopped downloading every movie I came across and started only downloading those I really liked. Before, I could watch 15 new anime series in a row (and I still haven’t finished them all yet! ), now I might only have time and interest to watch a movie every few days... Until last week, when the last movie on the hard drive was watched and deleted... I finally felt a sense of relief... I still manage to watch two movies per week... Over the past three years, in addition to watching hundreds of movies that have since been deleted (I don’t even know if it’s thousands...), I still have two sets of DVDs containing TV shows and animations (mostly recorded because I didn’t have time to watch them; it will probably take until 2030 before I can finish watching them all)... Looking back now, after all these days, I suppose I should leave behind some kind of memories, right? So that the experiences described in this section won’t vanish into the passage of time, just like the titles of movies I’ve seen before… That’s why there are these writings, both those from the present and those that will come in the future. Basically, I write whatever comes to mind, but for the sake of organization, I’ll try to categorize the content by type and region. There are three types: movies, TV series, and animations… If I have time, I’ll also talk about variety shows. As for regions, they include the United States, Japan, Europe (mainly the UK, France, and Germany; occasionally I’ve watched some content from Denmark and Norway), South Korea, the Chinese mainland, **, Taiwan, Thailand… A flexible combination, really. Due to time constraints, one post might not be completed within a single day; I’ll write a little bit whenever I have time. Reading access will be enabled once everything is finished. That’s the introduction. Next time: Meteor Talks About Movies – focusing on American movies. Stay tuned! Reposting is welcome, but please indicate the source. Thank you for your cooperation!

Bring a bench, watch the meteors, and chat about movies. . I still remember when I was a child and would take a bench to the square to watch movies
It’s so greenish; can’t the poster use a brighter color? My eyes are dizzy just looking at it……
:victory: I admire the most talented people the most, Meteor! Meteor! Looking forward to it! :Lol, it can be changed to dark green; it looks more pleasant that way. :)
Labor should be rewarded, right? :)
Let’s move a bench over so I can listen to you talk at your own pace~~~! !
Sit down and listen to you talk at your own pace. . .
I also watched a ton of movies during my school days, as the campus network was online and worked smoothly (with almost no lag), which led to a sort of \"information overload.\" Like the original poster, I can’t remember many of the titles or the actors, but I still recall quite a bit of the plot, so I often tell my good friends entire movies when I have time; I rarely read film reviews, as I find many of them to be too pragmatic. Today, after seeing the original poster’s post, I felt inspired to revisit various movies again; I’ll be waiting patiently for more great posts from the original poster……
The Meteor Manager is truly a movie fanatic – he can watch 14 movies in a single day. No need to say more; just sit down and wait for the rest of the story:victory:
