Please advise on the relationship between Kcal and conventional units
The former is a power unit, while the latter is a flow rate. There is no connection between the two
It’s a bit related. That is, at a constant temperature difference, the heat transfer rate is proportional to the flow rate.
For the same medium, there is a direct proportional relationship
Kcal/h is a unit of power; 1 cal = 4.178 J, and 1 J/s = 1 W. m3/h is a unit of flow rate

Calories, a unit of heat; in my understanding, it is proportional to the flow rate under certain conditions!
Kcal/h is the amount of heat exchanged per unit of time. Kcal/h = flow rate × temperature difference × specific heat. Be careful to convert units when calculating.
