What is the typical temperature control in the feed section of a urea synthesis plant, and why? What are the requirements for the composition of liquid ammonia?
The liquid ammonia composition conditions in the inlet zone are as follows: 1. Purity greater than 99.5% (wt%)； 2. Oil content is less than or equal to 10 PPm ；
Components such as liquid ammonia: 1. NH3 at 99.9% or higher (wt%)； 2. The oil content is less than or equal to 1 mg/kg; the quality of urea produced from liquid ammonia in this way should be better.
The temperature of the liquid ammonia fed into the urea production unit in our plant is generally kept below 20°C; too high a temperature can cause the high-pressure ammonia pump to vaporize, while too low a temperature may lead to leaks in the head of the ammonia preheater.

Components: Purity: greater than 99.5% (WT%), with H2, N2, H2O, etc. at less than 0.5% (WT%), oils at less than 10 PPM; pressure of 2–2.5 MPa, temperature of 9–40 degrees Celsius. If its temperature is too high, it has a significant impact on the pump; if it is too low, it will **reduce the service life of the pump’s packing!
