Deoxygenated water must be used as required. For cooling, any water that can cool down will do. However, after cooling, this part of the water becomes part of the low-pressure steam, so deoxygenated water is used.
It is very necessary to use deoxygenated water. This water will turn into steam after entering the system, so deoxygenated water must be used. When the requirements are not very strict, desalted water can also be used instead.

Here we convert 10 kilograms of steam into 4 kilograms of steam after passing through the temperature and pressure reducer. As the name suggests, the temperature-reducing and pressure-reducing function is to reduce temperature and pressure. Convert high-pressure superheated steam into low-pressure saturated steam. And we use condensed water instead of deoxygenated water.

Strictly speaking, deoxygenated water must be used to ensure the quality of the steam after reducing temperature and pressure. As far as the desuperheater is concerned, it is better to use secondary condensed water.
Our equipment also uses deoxygenated water because steam is used as raw material and has higher quality requirements.
Deoxygenated water must be used, otherwise the highly reactive oxygen atoms brought into the steam system will corrode the desuperheater and pipelines, causing endless trouble.
At present, each company usually does not have a low-pressure steam pipe network (0.3MPa), but if this level of steam is needed, 1.0MPa steam is generally required to obtain it by reducing temperature and pressure. The required water injection requirement is deoxygenated water.
Of course, deaerated water must be used to prevent corrosion of pipelines.
