For a stove with a dual-fuel burner that can operate on gas alone, does it matter whether the atomization vapor function of the oil burner is turned on or not? Our device is turned on; it’s kept on to protect the burner. Can turning it off damage the burner?
When the stove’s gas-and-oil dual-fuel burner is used solely with gas, it is not necessary to activate the atomization vapor function of the oil nozzle. To protect the burner, the pressure of the primary air can be increased slightly, so that the flame does not burn directly at the base of the burner, thereby preventing damage to it.
If the nebulization medium is compressed air, it’s better to use it!
In a gas-oil combined burner, when burning only fuel gas without oil, the oil nozzle should be removed from the burner, or a small amount of steam should be introduced to prevent the oil nozzle from being damaged. So if you turn off the misting steam, you need to remove the oil gun; otherwise, over time, the tip of the oil gun will get damaged.
For oil and gas burners, any nozzles that are not in use should be removed; the nozzles that are in use are cooled by secondary air. (Steam is not used, as its cost is higher than that of air, and mixing steam with gas for combustion is also not ideal; using steam may be a temporary solution.) There are certain heating furnaces that require the use of \"instrument air\" to cool the ignition rods and pilot lights.
