Used for casting aluminum bars: flow tubes, distribution plates, filter plates, floats – what else?
There might not be many forums for technicians who work on furnace construction; I’ve seen such forums, but I’ve never been involved in actual furnace construction, nor have I worked with the tools used for this purpose!
Hehe, I’ve done this before; it involves constructing a structure according to the blueprints, adding a fire-resistant and wear-resistant layer, followed by a insulation layer, and finally a sealing layer on top. What’s particularly important is the proper ratio of the fire-resistant materials used, so that the structure is stronger and less prone to cracking

Currently, there are some aluminum silicate ceramic sheets that can be used as a replacement for the casting material. Some time ago, an aluminum silicate fiber mat capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1300 degrees was used to construct the furnace roof, and the results were good.
