Cladding -- metal protective layer, coating. Generally, thin aluminum sheets are used to cover the insulation layer in order to provide protection against rain and moisture.
It refers to the fibrous mattress insulation used for the spacer rings in cladding systems; it is a white glass fiber cloth or mat that is placed between the pipe clamp and the pipe when connecting the insulation support to the pipe, in order to protect the paint on the outside of the pipe as well as its insulating properties, with additional insulation being applied on top of that.
