Regarding the expiration of team members' terms

My term as a member of the technical team will come to an end at the end of this month. Last year, when applying to become a technical expert, I felt that I didn’t meet the requirements for such a title; hence I didn’t apply for the position of technical expert in any specific area. I still remain a member of the technical team, but now that my term is about to end, what should I do? What’s the way forward?
Since the end of last year, no new memberships or renewals for the technical group are being granted; applications to become a “technical discussant” or to participate in discussions as a member of the regular group are welcome
Oh, I see. Do I need to apply to be a technical reviewer after it expires?
