Have seen: inverted bucket traps. I would like to ask expert Larry: what are the differences between inverted bucket traps, bucket steam traps, and open bucket traps? Are inverted bucket traps and bucket steam traps both referring to the inverted bucket type?

In practice, I have only used Spacake thermal power discs and float-type hydrostatic traps. As for the inverted bucket trap, I’ve only seen it described in the promotional materials they provide. That’s why I translated “bucket” as “inverted bucket type” – after all, mechanical traps are mainly divided into those with floats and those with inverted buckets (it seems that the difference between “bucket” and “float” lies in the shape of their moving parts). The main moving part of an inverted bucket trap is indeed an inverted bucket. As for whether there are buckets that are positioned upright or “open buckets,” I’m not sure… I’m ashamed...:funk:
