As the title suggests, could you provide some companies that are doing well in this field along with some examples? I know East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai has relevant technologies in this area.
Treatment of cold coking water and cut coke water: Let’s start with cold coking water. After the cooling process in the coking tower is completed, this water is usually discharged into an oil separation tank and then into a hot water tank. Following further cooling, it is stored in a cold water tank for reuse. Some companies have already installed tanks for storing hot and cold coking water. The main treatment method for this water involves cooling; previously, a circulating water cooling system was commonly used, which led to the emission of odorous substances. Nowadays, many companies have adopted closed systems for removing oil and coke powder from the cold coking water, along with cooling processes, which helps to reduce odorous emissions. As for the coking water, once it enters the coke tower, it moves on to the coke pool during the coking removal process; after filtration and oil separation, it goes into the coking water tank for reuse.
