Recently, when it comes to hatching and selecting points, even for the same area, sometimes it’s possible to complete the hatching successfully, while at other times an error message appears indicating that hatching isn’t possible (sometimes it can’t be done now, but it works later). It’s the same area every time – why does this happen? I’d appreciate your advice, thank you!
I also encounter this problem frequently; it’s probably a software issue. Anyway, it’s always possible to fill it in in the end
Hasn’t everyone encountered similar problems?

First, check whether the shape you selected is a solid; if it is, it needs to be broken down first before filling; Check again whether solid filling is enabled. If it isn’t, select solid filling in the options, or you can also enter the command ‘fill’ and set it to ‘on’, then regenerate to see if the filling is applied. If it’s still not there, try applying the filling once more ;
I haven’t encountered such problems yet; generally it’s possible to fill it in. Could it be that the selection point is incorrect or that what was selected isn’t a block?
It’s possible that, as a result of an unintentional modification, the filled area was changed to an unclosed area
I think it’s still a matter of drawing accuracy; if the drawings are done properly, such problems won’t arise. Of course, there’s another factor as well – I’ve encountered this before: when I need to fill an area, I usually select the object instead of picking points. Although picking points is convenient, it sometimes feels like one can’t get the exact points one wants.
