Quality Engineer

II. Eligibility Requirements (1) All citizens of the People’s Republic of China, residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, or foreign nationals who have been approved by the relevant departments of the State Council to work within the People’s Republic of China, and who meet the following conditions, may apply for the professional qualification examination for quality professionals: 1. They must abide by the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China and various laws, earnestly implement the guidelines and policies regarding quality work, comply with relevant laws and regulations on quality work, have a passion for quality-related professions, and uphold professional ethics. 2. Those applying for the junior qualification in quality management must have an education level of at least secondary vocational school. 3. Those applying for the intermediate qualification in quality management must meet one of the following conditions: (1) Hold an associate degree and have at least 5 years of experience in quality-related work. (2) Hold a bachelor’s degree from a university and have at least 4 years of experience in quality-related work. (3) Hold a double bachelor’s degree or have graduated from a graduate program, and have at least 2 years of experience in quality-related work. (4) Hold a master’s degree and have at least 1 year of experience in quality-related work. (5) Obtain a doctoral degree. (6) Prior to the date of issuance of the Interim Provisions on the Professional Qualification Examinations for Quality Professionals (hereinafter referred to as the \"Interim Provisions\"), on **December 22, 2000**, they had been appointed to the position of assistant engineer in accordance with unified regulations, and had worked in quality-related fields for at least 5 years. (II) Conditions for being exempt from taking certain exams: Those quality professionals who, prior to the issuance of the Interim Provisions, were already employed in positions of assistant engineer or engineer in the engineering field in accordance with **uniform regulations, need to take only one of the exams, namely “Fundamental Theories and Practices in Quality Management” or “Theories and Practices in Quality Management”, at the corresponding level; passing this exam will grant them the qualification corresponding to that level in quality management. (III) The deadline for the required length of experience in quality-related work as specified in the application requirements is the end of the year in which the examination is held. (IV) For residents of **, Macao, and Taiwan who wish to apply to take the exam, the eligibility verification for their applications shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions set out in Ministry of Civil Affairs Document No. 9 and Ministry of Civil Affairs Document No. 78. III. Registration Organization (1) In accordance with the guidelines set out in documents issued by the **Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Provincial Department of Personnel, these measures are taken to further strengthen the management of registration information for personnel examinations, and to improve the completeness and accuracy of such information. In 2009, all types of personnel examinations in our city will be conducted through online registration. The following documents are required: 1. A registration form downloaded and printed online, along with 1 recent 2-inch bareheaded photo of the applicant ； 2. My ID card (or officer’s ID) and a copy thereof ； 3. Relevant educational certificates or professional technical qualification certificates, along with their copies ； 4. Original valid proof of business operations

What is quality work? Can the work in an analysis laboratory be considered quality work as well? It’s still that so-called ISO quality.
