Summary of production experience for reference: 1. Keep abreast of weather conditions to take preventive measures; deliver the respective type of coal to the coal blending bin in advance before it starts to rain. 2. If the coal blending bin is not sufficient for handling coal during rainy periods, use colored tarpaulins at the coal yard to cover certain types of coal (such as SM, FM, etc.). 3. When collecting coal, pay attention to taking the upper part of a single type of coal and avoid taking the lower part, as it has a higher moisture content.
We have an open-pit coal yard; during the rainy season, the moisture content of the coal increases, which affects coking. Based on the summary, we have developed a series of countermeasures. For example: Check the moisture content of the blending coal once every 4 hours per shift ; Adjust the standard temperature according to the moisture level (for example, when the normal moisture level is 11.0, increase the standard temperature by 5 degrees when it ranges from 11.0 to 11.5, and so on)

We have set up sheds, and the amount of coal stored should be sufficient to cover three to four days of use. Even if it rains for more than three or four days, the previously prepared coal can be used together with wet coal, which helps to minimize the moisture content of the coal fed into the furnace!
