I would like to ask which specialty is responsible for designing the pipelines used for automatic control within the factory, those used to control pneumatic valves, as well as air compressors and similar equipment ? ? ?
The air compressors are designed by the equipment specialists. The piping for the air compressors is installed by the process piping specialists, while the piping for instrument air is handled by the automation specialists. For specific details and the scope of responsibilities, refer to the automation design manual
From the perspective of the overall engineering design, the process engineering team should determine the main process flow, the layout of pipelines, and the planar arrangement of equipment, and then provide the relevant technical parameters for the equipment engineering team to select the appropriate air compressors. The pipeline from the air compressors to the buffer tanks is the responsibility of the process engineering team, while the instrumentation team is responsible for the layout and installation of the instrument air pipelines for the control valves.

Air compressors are designed by power engineering or thermal engineering departments. Generally, small design firms have thermal engineers to handle this task.
The air compressor system is responsible for this; the gas pipelines are responsible for delivering the gas to the vicinity of the control valve, while the instruments associated with the control valve handle the connection to the gas source themselves
