I would like to ask experts: where are the drain lines, vent lines, and sealed discharge systems installed? Including design principles and functions. Also, do these pipelines have any special functions? If you give a good answer, I’ll give you guys extra points.
A drain valve is generally installed at the lowest point of a pipeline or equipment, mainly for draining water during system pressure testing. Air vents are generally installed at the highest point of pipes or equipment, mainly for venting air during system pressure testing. A backflow device must be installed at the lowest point of each lift bend; otherwise, the hydraulic testing water cannot be pumped into the pipes during the system pressure test.
