A pressure calibrator is used to accurately and efficiently calibrate pressure switches. Pressure switches are control components in industrial control systems; they enable the control of system operation status, as well as provide protection against overpressure and underpressure, ensuring that the system operates reliably within its normal operating pressure range. Problem: Currently, manufacturing companies generally use precision pressure gauges or digital pressure meters as calibration devices for calibrating pressure switches. During verification, it is done by listening to the sounds and reading the values while applying pressure and releasing pressure to the pressure switch; another method involves using a multimeter to check whether the switch is closed or open in order to determine its state changes. During operation, the verifier must read the data promptly and accurately while determining changes in the switch. The main problems with such methods are: (1) Since precision pressure gauges are generally used in laboratories, prolonged and frequent use in production environments will quickly cause their readings to deviate from the standard values; therefore, this testing method is not suitable for use under field conditions ; (2) Precision pressure gauges have very fine markings, which can easily lead to misreading and incorrect readings. Moreover, factors such as operator fatigue and subjective biases can also cause variations in the readings ; (3) During operation, after determining the change in the switch, the inspector reads the value shown on the precision pressure gauge or digital pressure meter; errors may occur in the data due to variations over time. It has been proven that this verification method can no longer meet the requirements for verifying pressure switches in modern industrial production. During the calibration of pressure switches, it is difficult to ensure the quality of calibration without precise testing equipment. Solution: The MC2 or MC5 pressure calibrators (and multi-functional calibrators) produced by the Finnish company Bemex, distributed by York Instruments, offer the optimal solution for calibrating pressure switches. This solution consists of an MC2 or MC5 pressure calibrator (with a built-in pressure module), a high-precision pressure module, and a manual pressure pump. The MC2 or MC5 pressure calibrator can automatically record the instantaneous pressure value at the moment a pressure switch changes, as that change occurs. This solution **improves the accuracy and efficiency of pressure switch calibration. The pressure calibrator MC2 can detect pressure when there is no external voltage applied to the pressure switch, or when a DC voltage of -1 to 30V is present. First, set the trigger level. It can be set to determine whether to use a trigger level, or it can cause MC2 or MC5 to generate a test voltage in order to detect switches without an external voltage applied. All voltages below this trigger level will be considered off. Any voltage above this value is considered to be on. After selecting the switch test, a message appears in the display window of the MC2 or MC5 pressure calibrator; the switch function captures and displays the measurement values when the switch changes in another window. The status of the activation level will be displayed on the screen as large symbolic icons, along with the pressure value when the switch was last turned on and the pressure value when it was last turned off. The accuracy of the measured value depends largely on the rate of change of the switch input signal. The detection of switch states can also be used for binary signal detection. The value of the enabled switch is “1” or “true”. The value of a closed switch is equal to “0” or “false”. A sound alarm can also be set for the switch, allowing for continuous switching tests without the need to look at the display. Thus, the MC2 or MC5 pressure calibrators produced by the Finnish company Bemex are used, as they possess digital switching test functions, **which improves the accuracy and efficiency of calibrating pressure switches and meets the requirements of modern industrial production.
