It works in conjunction with the minimum flow recirculation valve of the water pump to ensure the safe operation of the system. When the outlet valve is opened and the feed water pump starts, once the feed water reaches a certain pressure, the valve stem rises automatically, pushing away from the valve seat and allowing the feed water to flow out. At the same time, the valve spool rod pulls the empty discharge check valve flap to close the discharge port. When the flow rate of the feed water pump decreases, the valve core drops, pushing the linkage to displace the drain valve disc and open the recirculation valve in order to maintain a minimum flow rate for the water pump. When the pump is stopped, the valve core drops automatically to close the passage, thereby preventing high-pressure water hammer from damaging the water supply system. Purpose: This valve is used at the outlet of the boiler feed water pump. It is used to prevent backflow of the medium and to act as an air discharge mechanism, protecting the pump and improving the efficiency of the feed water pump. Structural features: 1. The valve consists of a check valve, a recirculation bypass valve, and a throttling device. 2. When the medium flows in the forward direction, the valve disc opens automatically; due to the lever action, the bypass valve closes. When the medium flows in the reverse direction, the valve disc closes automatically while the bypass valve opens, allowing the water pumped by the pump to be discharged through the bypass valve and flow back into the water tank. 3. The sealing surface of the valve disc is made by surfacing with cemented carbide, offering good wear resistance and erosion resistance. 4. The valve’s flow channel design is superior, reducing erosion on the valve disc: Special processing techniques are applied at the root of the small sealing area of the valve disc to mitigate cavitation erosion and extend its service life. 5. The valve should be installed vertically.
