Standards for 8-character flanges

A customer is requesting 28\" eight-character blind flange fittings, but no drawings are available nor is any standard specified. It’s not clear what parameters such flanges are related to, or whether there is any corresponding American standard for eight-character flanges. Note: The product is intended for use in the United States; other pipe fittings and flanges used in pipelines follow the standards ASTM B16.9, ASTM B16.11, and ASTM B16.5 respectively

In HG21547, the maximum is DN700
It seems to be in HG21547; several people upstairs have said so
Both HG21547-1993 and ASME B16.48 cover up to DN600; there are no standard blind flanges for DN700, so custom designs and drawings are required
The design is very simple. The thickness calculation is based on the formula in B 31.3. The outer diameter of the blank and the spacer is equal to the diameter of the gasket, while the inner diameter of the spacer is equal to the inner diameter of the pipe.

Stop searching; there is currently no standard for such 8-character blind plates. It is generally designed by referring to the thickness of standard flange covers and the outer diameter of gaskets, in accordance with HG21547-1993; it is not referred to as an 8-shaped blind plate, plug plate, or plug ring.
Standard sizes go up to 24"; for 28", it requires custom design based on the relevant flanges. I’ll send a picture for reference only!
