There are many posts on Haichuanli introducing American TUTTLE nozzles, while there are fewer posts introducing other foreign manufacturers of granulation nozzles. However, I guess there must be other manufacturers of granulation nozzles besides TUTTLE, right? Therefore, I would like to ask: apart from the American company TUTTLE, are there any other foreign manufacturers of granulation nozzles?
It is understood that in the large fertilizer production facilities introduced in the 1970s and 1980s, the granulation nozzles used in the urea production units were basically imported; were they all from Tuttle in the United States? Are there no other foreign manufacturers?

How effective are the nozzles produced by the Dutch company Kärcher? Is it okay still?
The Aerospace 11th Research Institute uses a large number of nozzles for small-scale urination applications, but the quality of these nozzles is unstable – their performance varies from time to time – and their service life is short. Our factory has to place orders for several nozzles from this institute every year; I really don’t understand why.
Our factory has not yet started operating officially, so it’s hard to say what the results will be. I conducted granulation tests some time ago, and the results were pretty good. I will report on the situation to everyone after it has been running for some time.
Dear kongxn001 from Haiyou: What is the production capacity of your urea plant? Is it tower granulation? The nozzles we are discussing refer to those used for tower granulation.
Moderator: We use the technology of the Japanese company Toyo to improve the “C” process; the production capacity is 480,000 tons per year, with tower granulation and rotating nozzles.

Send an American nozzle for a look. This image shows a nozzle manufactured by the American company TUTTLE. Such nozzles are used in most large-scale nitrogen fertilizer production facilities in China, while they are rarely used in smaller-scale nitrogen fertilizer production. There are no notable features in terms of their design; the main difference is that their shape is different from that of domestically produced nozzles, with smaller openings. But the price is extremely high.
