Seeking help regarding yellowing of liquid alkynol products

The methylbutynol I purchased was slightly yellow in color at first, but after being stored for several months, its color turned very yellow. I’m not sure what the reason is. Is there anyone among the users who can help solve this problem? Thank you in advance!
It must be caused by the oxidation of impurities present, which are organic substances; the solution is to dissolve them and use activated carbon to remove them. It has been used as a diol; the intermediate product is an alkyne diol, and the same problem occurs there as well. The main issue is that organic impurities are not removed thoroughly, causing the product to turn yellow; oxidation occurs over time, making it even yellower.
The longer it is left, the darker it becomes, more yellow! Oxidation reactions should be considered, whose products cause the color to turn yellow. Antioxidants can be considered to inhibit discoloration
There are many types of antioxidants available on the market. Is type 1010 suitable? Please advise those with experience
