What instrument does LZ refer to? There’s only the model number; how would someone who hasn’t used it know? Only by clearly specifying what instrument it is can everyone help analyze the issues based on its basic principles.
Is it an instrument from Old Beifeng, or something from Beifeng Rayleigh? There are several reasons for poor separation efficiency: 1. Mismatched columns ; Method: Replace with a matching column ; 2. Column failure ; Method: Replace the column ; 3. Column saturation ; Activated column ; Sampling, sample introduction, system sealing, detectors, and signal processing will be discussed later.
To determine the quality of separation, it really depends on whether the analysis conditions have been chosen correctly. If the temperature and flow rates are appropriate, then try using a different column; it’s likely that the column you chose isn’t suitable. I don’t think it has much to do with chromatography
I’m also using the 3420-A from Beifen, it’s from Beifen Tianpu. I bought it just a few days ago, and whenever I do calculations, an inverted peak always appears. I can’t find the reason. I’ve contacted the manufacturer, and it’s been a week yet with no one showing up.
