In the Claus process sulfur production system using hydrogen sulfide, the condensers and waste heat boilers are prone to damage. When 20g tubes are used, they sometimes leak after just half a year. Do any of you experts have any good tips?
If the leakage occurs during a shutdown, you need to check whether the conditions during that shutdown were below the dew point temperature; it’s very likely related to your operations； If the condition occurs during normal operation, it may be related to the quality of equipment manufacturing or its structure, especially the location of the pipe joints
