The results for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1 came out this year; I scored 299 and finally passed, after having delayed it for many years. I didn’t take the exam when I was doing well. I remembered that I needed to take the exam, but then I didn’t have time to study anymore*. Year after year, my scores got worse; this is already the third year. In previous attempts my scores were in the 270s, but this time I finally passed, and now I can put it behind me. There shouldn’t be much left to test anymore

It seems that the difficulty of Japanese lies mainly in pronunciation, but people from Guangdong might have an advantage, as there seems to be some similarity in the use of certain vocal organs, haha
