I don’t know; I can only post a reply for you. But I think choosing 310 is the right choice – 90° caustic soda corrosion is quite severe, otherwise it would result in an excessive amount of iron in the alkali
316L is not suitable for such conditions; we use it in coolers where the inlet area is subject to corrosion. One year. Only the outlet with a lower alkali temperature is better. If the temperature is high, only nickel materials or 310S can be used
The annual corrosion rate depends on the site conditions; 310S should be used in high-temperature environments

In such a medium, nickel is generally preferred over 316L or 310S. Nickel is also recommended for use in the alkali circulation tanks; however, there are cases where 310S has been used for these tanks and pumps. In this context, 310S offers better corrosion resistance than 316L. Material 304 can be used when the temperature of the alkali solution drops below 40 degrees Celsius. The alkali solution at the outlet of the electrolyzer is highly heated and highly corrosive.
