Dear friends, what is the moisture content of your crude methanol? Indicate the process you use, that is, the source of the syngas and the approximate composition of the gas! !
Over 90%, powder gasification! About 90% of it is CO+H2!
Each manufacturer has different production conditions and uses different raw materials, which results in varying water contents in crude methanol; ours is 14-20%
The water content in crude methanol depends on the carbon dioxide content in the process gas, as carbon dioxide reacts to form water
We produce methanol from coal. Inferior gases in syngas account for about 10%, while hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide together make up about 90%. The water content in crude methanol is approximately 5–6%
Currently, the water content in crude methanol in the coal chemical industry is generally between 5% and 6%. The concentration of CO2 can be controlled based on the activity of the catalyst, which allows for some variation in the water content.
About 20%; the CO2 concentration affects the water content.
The molar ratio is about 12% while the mass ratio is around 8%, depending mainly on the amount of CO2 in the syngas
Coal product with a methanol content of 90–95%; Natural gas product with a methanol content of 76–85% ; Syngas purification product with a methanol content of 60% or less. The rest is basically water. The alcohol content of the crude methanol product mainly depends on the CO2 content in the imported fresh gas. High CO2 means high water content. The CO2 content is related to the overall process: the results differ for monohydric alcohols and dihydric alcohols ; Different decarbonization methods also result in different amounts of CO2 ; Different methanol production levels also result in different CO2 amounts ; Different gas generation methods and operating levels also result in varying levels of CO2 ; Furthermore, different coal types also result in different CO2 levels. We believe that as long as the temperature in the methanol reactor can be well controlled, it is beneficial to have as little CO2 as possible.
It should be around 10% to 20%
Below 5%, in powder gasification, about 90% is CO+H2.
