What other documents are needed in addition to the \"Welding Procedure Qualification Guide\" and the \"Welding Qualification Report\" for our certification purposes (such as weld material data sheets, base metal data sheets, etc.)? I would appreciate it if an expert could explain each one in detail. Thanks. The review of weld evaluations during evidence collection focuses mainly on the coverage issue and whether the reports are filled out properly. Various test pieces need to be inspected on-site. For example, whether the bending angle reaches 180°, whether there is eccentricity, and whether the excess height has been removed, etc. As for the welding materials and steel grade sheets, they can be attached at the back of the weld evaluation report; it’s not a priority.
"As for the welding materials and steel grade sheets, they can be attached at the back of the weld evaluation report; it’s not a priority. "Inspection test reports, visual inspection reports, welding records, etc. – is there anything else? Please clarify.
Misleading on the 3rd floor. In Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Welding Procedure Qualification Report (PQR), the documentation is crucial. Especially for PQR, it mainly involves the collection and organization of data. These include: raw material quality certificates, welding wire quality certificates, flux quality certificates (if any), all test reports (including visual inspections), heat treatment reports, and so on.
Hehe! How was it misguidedly done? The mechanical property test report is of key importance and determines the success or failure of the weld evaluation; it must be carried out by a qualified organization. In addition, a visual inspection report (available after form 4708) also needs to be filled out. I don’t think this is that important, as sampling can help avoid defects. Of course, it should be welded properly; after all, it’s a technical skill that requires careful attention. Welding records must also be kept, and they need to be detailed, with information reflected in the weld evaluation – including current, voltage, welding speed, polarity, and whether the weld bead oscillates or not. As for the material list, it can be attached at the back; that’s not what I’m focusing on. What’s important is whether it constitutes a key aspect of weld evaluation, which is different from the inspection processes used in container manufacturing.
Welding procedure sheet, welding procedure qualification report, plate material data sheet, welding consumables material data sheet, welding record form, non-detection inspection order, physical and chemical testing order, non-detection inspection report, physical and chemical testing report, material requisition form
