As the title says? I wonder which marine engineer has used the PHA-Works HAZOP software? Those who have used it, please share your experience. Thank you all! !
Haven’t used it; I’ll get actively involved. According to online information, PHA-Works is software designed specifically as a tool for documenting HAZOP analyses; its extensive set of templates and forms makes process safety management (PSM) simpler and more standardized. The PHAworks software relies heavily on manual input; it has its own knowledge base from which guidance terms can be selected directly. For similar parameter deviations, they can be copied and then modified. It is very similar to the PHA-pro software, but its functions are not as powerful as those of PHA-pro.
Where were these software programs developed? Evaluation methods like HAZOP are not commonly used, as they require highly skilled evaluators.
I wonder if these two software programs are available for download?
There should be nothing to download. I have used PHAWORKS.

Last year, the Work Safety Supervision Bureau issued Order No. 76, requiring relevant enterprises to conduct HAZOP analyses, that is, hazard and operability studies, during the preliminary design phase for construction projects involving \"two key areas, one major aspect\" and those with new industrial designs. At present, the development of HAZOP analyst teams in China is still in its initial stages, and many companies are not very familiar with the HAZOP analysis method. A HAZOP application analysis software has been discovered, which can better assist users in carrying out HAZOP analyses in a high-quality and efficient manner. 1. HAZOPkit is easy to install; anyone who can use a computer can install it on their own. Supports online and standalone versions ; 2. Intelligent engine technology…… 3. Integrating the scientific methods of Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) into HAZOP analysis…… 4. Differential management of nodes…… 5. Comprehensive management of multiple projects…… 6. Management of analysis parameters…… 7. Expert experience checklist……
