Pump inlet reducing diameter problem

On the horizontal section of the pump inlet, if an eccentric large or small head is used, how should it be installed to prevent air bags?
If the liquid source is below the pump, use the upper flush head. If the liquid source is above the pump, use the lower flush head.
Generally speaking, the inlet adopts anisocentric diameter reduction and the outlet adopts concentric diameter reduction. The main consideration is the resistance loss of the pump.
