I always thought that the term for a \"dream lover\" was \"dreamboat\", but today I saw another term online, \"dream lover\", and there are quite a few uses of it. I would like to discuss these two words with everyone here. I checked the English definition of \"dreamboat\" and thought it was a suitable choice, while no corresponding English definition could be found for \"dream lover\". Dreamboat n. 1. A highly attractive or desirable person; someone considered to be exceptionally good-looking and physically attractive. For example, my new boyfriend is such a dreamboat – he can dance, sing, and is also the captain of the school hockey team. 2. Anything that is considered to be highly desirable in its category; his new car is a dreamboat.
\"Dream lover\" is probably Chinese-style English. It’s like saying long time no see.

Girl In Your Dreams The lover in your dreams
Let’s be realistic, Mr. RIGHT:lol
the woman of your dreams / the man of your dreams...
“Mr. Right” – Slang term for a man who would make an ideal mate; a man regarded as a perfect romantic partner or potential husband. (Sometimes, “Miss,” “Ms.,” or “Mrs.” is used instead of “Mr.” when referring to a woman.) In other words, it refers to a perfect, ideal, or suitable mate or husband. For example: She waited for years, hoping to find her Mr. Right someday. The Chinese equivalent of “Mr. Right” is “如意郎君”; this term isn’t the same as “dream lover”.
DREAMLOVER should be the most accurate, right?~
“Dream lover” must be Chinglish; it’s a translation for a dream lover. I saw “dreamboat” for the first time – haha, I learned something new!
Dream Boat – I’ve never heard foreigners mention it. Dream Lover too; it seems to be a term from the 1970s. Here are some phrases that I think are commonly used: boy/girl of my dream; she is my dream; for your reference.
It should be “prince charming” – the ideal man in a girl’s dreams; I have no idea who the boy’s dream girl is
