Lubricants have many physical properties, among which viscosity, moisture, contaminants, and flash point are important. In summary, the quality of lubricant is key to the long-term stable operation of equipment. Cannot be ignored!
Oh, and grease. Many people generally assume that the more bearing grease there is in a cooling fan, the better, but this is not the case. I attended a training session organized by SKF on the installation and removal of bearings last time.
