A drain pipe is generally installed at the lowest point of a pipeline or equipment, mainly for draining water during system pressure testing. Venting is generally installed at the highest point of pipes or equipment, mainly for venting air during system pressure testing. A drain must be installed at the lowest point of each lift bend; otherwise, the hydraulic testing water cannot be discharged into the pipes during the system’s hydraulic test.

Additionally, it is necessary to determine whether gas or liquid displacement is required during the manufacturing process; in such cases, it is still essential to install drain valves and vent valves at key points. This results in a significant and uniform displacement effect.
