The analysis of the urea content in hydrolyzed wastewater is still carried out in the same way as the analysis of urea in the synthesis solution. I’m not sure how others proceed with this analysis; I’m looking for procedures for analyzing trace amounts of urea.

Since urea readily hydrolyzes to ammonium carbonate in water, direct analysis of urea is highly unreliable. It is recommended to analyze ammonium nitrogen, as it is a more reliable analytical method. There are many methods and instruments for analyzing ammonia nitrogen, which can be searched for. If you can’t find it, please contact me.
