To all friends passing by: Please share the information related to the pressure vessels made of austenitic stainless steel that you are familiar with, and make sure the details are accurate, so that we can all use them as a reference for learning. Please specify the container category, medium name, operating temperature, and operating pressure
It doesn’t seem to be very useful; it can be used in any situation where it’s feasible, regardless of the costs, unless there is severe corrosion of austenite or other special requirements that make its use unnecessary.
I think costs certainly need to be taken into consideration. What I mean is those situations where austenitic stainless steel must be used; such materials are very useful for design purposes. For example, I recently received a design task related to iodomethane, and having reference samples of the finished tanks would be extremely helpful. Right, everyone?
